concert at The Sage Gateshead is a musical-first for the Northeast
Pakistan Cultural Society (PCS) in partnership with The Sage
Gateshead presents: Wajahat Khan and the Medici String Quartet.
On Wednesday 14th December, there will be a musical-first for
a Northeast audience when Indian and Western Classical Music meet
at The Sage Gateshead; the legendary Wajahat Khan will take to
the stage with the Medici String Quartet to perform his Sarod
Quintet - entitled Raag Desh - as part of a collaborative project
between the Pakistan Cultural Society (PCS) and The Sage Gateshead.

announces a timetable for action on the regeneration of the Spanish
City area of Whitley Bay. A masterplan for the £60 million
redevelopment of the area is due to go out to public engagement
early in the New Year.

BRINGS FEAR OF FLYING CURE TO NEWCASTLE
A course to help people afraid of flying is coming to Newcastle
International Airport. Sir Richard Bransons Flying without
Fear programme is the first of its kind to reach Newcastle
making the airport one of only a handful in the country to offer
the course.
